Telegram alerts

Your alerts, in Telegram.

Price drops, reservations, new matches and viewing reminders, in a chat with the Bytky bot. One tidy message each time, with buttons to open every listing.

01What arrives

Every alert, in one tidy message

Each message lists up to 10 alerts, newest first, and anything beyond that waits in your Bytky inbox. Every listing gets two buttons: open it in Bytky, or go to the original listing.

  • Price drops, with the old and the new price
  • Reservations, and listings taken off the market
  • New listings that match your saved searches
  • A reminder the day before a viewing you booked

02Connecting

Connect once, from Settings

You need a free Bytky account. There is no code to type: a one-time link does it.

  1. Connect Telegram in Settings

In Settings → Telegram, press Connect Telegram. Bytky makes a link that works once, for 15 minutes.

  2. Press Start

The link opens the Bytky bot in Telegram. Press Start and the chat is connected.

  3. That's it

The bot confirms and says how your alerts will arrive. Settings shows the chat as connected, no reload needed.

Changed your mind? Press Disconnect in Settings → Telegram, or send /stop to the bot.

03When they arrive

As they happen, or once a day

Bytky Plus sends alerts as they happen. A free account gets them as one daily digest, at the same hour as your email digest.

  • Bytky Plus: as they happen, held during your quiet hours and sent when they end
  • Free: one daily digest at your digest hour, 08:00 Prague time unless you've changed it
  • Mute them for an hour or a day, from the chat or from Settings

04In the chat

Check, mute or stop from the chat

The bot knows a handful of commands: type / in the chat to see them. The Bytky button beside the message box opens bytky.com right inside Telegram.

  • /status: is this chat connected, and how alerts arrive
  • /mute 1h, /mute 1d or /mute off: pause alerts, or turn them back on
  • /stop: disconnect this chat
  • /help: what the bot does

05Good to know

Your language, your data

  • In your language

Alerts and the bot's replies follow your account's language: English, Ukrainian or Czech. Before you connect, the bot answers in your Telegram app's language.

  • Only what it needs

Bytky keeps the chat's id, your Telegram username or first name, when you connected, any mute or block, and the day of your last digest. Link tokens are stored only as a hash. The link is in your data export and goes when you delete your account.

  • If you block the bot

Bytky stops sending to that chat and Settings shows Reconnect Telegram. A fresh link turns alerts back on; your inbox keeps everything meanwhile.

Questions

Telegram alerts, answered

Do Telegram alerts cost anything?

No. They work with a free account, as one daily digest. Bytky Plus sends them as they happen, outside your quiet hours.

Do I still get alert emails?

Yes, if you have them on. Telegram is one more place for the same alerts: your emails and your inbox on Bytky carry on as before.

Will I get alerts from before I connected?

No. Only alerts raised after you connect go to Telegram. The ones before are in your Bytky inbox.

The bot says my link has expired. What now?

A link works once, for 15 minutes. Press Connect Telegram in Settings again for a fresh one; a new link cancels any older one.

Can my alerts go to more than one chat?

No, to one chat per account. Connecting another Telegram account moves your alerts there, and a chat belongs to one Bytky account at a time.

What happens to alerts while I'm muted?

They aren't sent to Telegram, not even after the mute ends, but they stay in your Bytky inbox. /mute off ends a mute early.

How do I stop them?

Send /stop to the bot, or press Disconnect in Settings → Telegram. Deleting your Bytky account removes the link too.
