How can I see a flat's price history and what it really costs each month?
Bytky keeps a new version of every listing on Sreality and Bezrealitky whenever its price, charges, status or details change. Each listing page shows its price and status history, the same flat on the other site and its earlier listings, and for rentals the true monthly cost: rent, service charges and utilities in one figure. Open any listing, or paste a Sreality or Bezrealitky link, to see it.

What does Bytky record?
Every change it sees on either site. New listings usually reach Bytky within a quarter of an hour, and both sites are swept in full every few hours, which catches price changes, reservations and removals. A new version is saved only when something changes:
- The price, the service charges and other costs.
- The status: active, reserved or removed.
- The size, layout, title, description and number of photos.
- The address and location.
A listing missing from a complete sweep is checked once more before it's marked removed. Its time on the market counts from the date the site says it was first published, where the site gives one.
What does the history show?
A chart of the asking price over time with the status in a bar beneath it, and a list of every change with its date, the old and new price and the difference in per cent. Signed out, you see the chart and the latest change; a free account shows the full list.
Bytky began recording both sites on 12 October 2026, so a listing's history starts then, or on the day it first appeared if that's later. Changes made before Bytky saw a listing aren't known.
How does Bytky spot the same flat on both sites, or listed again?
By comparing listings that could be one flat: the same kind of property close together (within 60 m when both addresses are exact, 250 m otherwise), a size within 3 m² or 3%, and the same layout and floor where both say. Each pair is scored on distance, size, floor, layout, price, title and photos. For photos, Bytky keeps only a short fingerprint of the first three, never the image, and two listings sharing distinctive photos are almost certainly the same flat.
- Matched across sites, a listing shows ‘Also on Sreality’ or ‘Also on Bezrealitky’, with the price there.
- A flat that comes back within a year of being taken down is a relist: its page shows the earlier listings, with their price and days on the market.
- Pairs that aren't clear-cut are left apart rather than merged on a guess, and a developer's identical flats are never merged automatically.

What is the true monthly cost?
Everything you pay each month in one figure. Rent alone undersells what a flat costs, so Bytky adds the rent, the service charges, utilities and any other monthly charges the listing states into a total per month, and two flats compare like for like. Rental cards lead with that total and say what it's made of, ‘Rent 20,000 Kč + 4,500 Kč charges’, and the listing page breaks it down, with the price per m², the total in euros at the Czech National Bank's rate, the deposit and the agent's commission.
The good-value index compares rentals on the same total wherever it can.

How do I find recent price cuts?
The explorer's price-cut filter keeps listings whose price has dropped in the last few days, and every area page has a row of its biggest recent cuts. Save the flats you like and Bytky tells you when their price drops again.
Coverage and limits
Where does it work, and where does it stop?
History and cost come from what the two sites publish.
- Bytky's record starts on 12 October 2026. Time on the market uses the site's own publication date, so it reaches further back.
- Sreality and Bezrealitky only; other portals and agents' own sites aren't covered.
- Asking prices only, not the rent agreed or the price paid.
- The monthly cost is only as complete as the listing: charges it doesn't state read ‘Not listed’, so the total can come out low.
- Matching can miss: if the photos, size or address differ between two ads for the same flat, they stay apart.
- A removal is confirmed after a full sweep, so it can take a few hours to show.

FAQ
Frequent questions
More about Bytky as a whole, from what it costs to where the data comes from.
Read the main FAQHow far back does Bytky's price history go?
To 12 October 2026, when Bytky started recording both sites, or to the day a listing first appeared if that's later. Time on the market goes further back, because it counts from the date the site says the listing was published.
Can I see a listing after it's been taken down?
Yes. Its Bytky page stays, marked removed, with its history, and if the flat comes back within a year the new listing is linked to it as a relist.
How do I know if a flat was listed before at a different price?
Its listing page shows the earlier listings of the same flat, with their price and how long they were on the market. The Chrome extension shows the same on Sreality and Bezrealitky.
What's included in the true monthly cost?
The rent plus every monthly charge the listing states: service charges, utilities and anything else. The deposit and the agent's commission are shown beside it but not added, since you pay them once.
Is the price history free?
The chart and the latest change are free to everyone. The full list of changes, the earlier listings of the flat and alerts on its price need a free account.
